Alloy steel snatch blocks are widely used for intermittent service that require quick attachments of wire ropes for moving loads over short distances. The alloy steel construction of the snatch blocks allows them to withstand heavy loads and makes them suitable for heavy-duty transportation applications.

Alloy snatch blocks with shackles are used for more permanent attachments with a rotating shackle piece that can be attached to chains, wire ropes, cables, or other applications.
Both hook and shackle style alloy snatch blocks are available in sheave diameter sizes ranging from 6” to 10” with a maximum working load limit of 12 Tons.
