Right Regular Lay, E.I.P.S. Grade Rotary/Standard Drill Line with C-Lube To Federal Specification RR-W-410, ASTM A1023/1023W & API-9A

Bright wire drill lines are made of a multi-threaded, twisted wire rope that is specifically designed for drilling rigs and hoisting and lowering drill pipes through the wellbore. The wire rope construction is extremely durable and resistant to abrasion as it is put under constant movement.

The 6X19 drill line is built of six strands of 19 wires and has an S (Seale) construction. This means that it has two layers of wires around an independent wire rope core (IWRC) and each layer is the same diameter. This gives it a higher breaking load and versatile use.

The 6X26 drill line is made of six strands of 26 wires and has a WS (Warrington Seale) construction. This means the rope has two layers of wires around an inner core. However, the diameters of each wire are alternated on the exterior layer, which protects the wire from abrasion and crushing.

Both of these drill lines feature:

  • Right Regular Lay
  • EIPS (Extra Improved Plowed Steel) Grade
  • Rotary/Standard Drill Line with C-Lube
  • Federal Specification RR-W-410, ASTM A1023/1023W and API-9A
  • Maximum Breaking Strength of 114 Tons
